The 10 year reunion for the MIBS class of 1999 was held on June 12-14 in New York City. The weekend event was attended by 20 classmates, along with spouses, partners, and children. Many traveled distances to attend, but none as far as Lisa Avey, who traveled all the way from Australia.

The festivities began Friday evening for dinner at Southwest Restaurant, which has a spectacular view of the river and city skyline. Saturday afternoon, the group boarded a cruise boat for a one-hour tour with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Navy Yard, WTC, World Financial Center, Chrysler building, Colgate Clock, NJ, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. Later that evening, the MIBS class was joined by other NYC alumni for after-dinner drinks at Shoolbreds in the East Village. The group said their goodbyes after brunch at Ulysses Folk House.
The fun-filled weekend was organized by MIBS classmates Ricardo Almeida, Sandeep Kurne, Danica Siemer, and Sergey Sirotkin.
