The MIBS class of 1990 celebrates its 20-year reunion in New York City!
MIBS 1990 Reunion Weekend Recap
Thirty-one MIBS ’90 alumni brought their spouses and families to New York City the weekend of August 6, 2010, to mark 20 years since graduation from the University of South Carolina.
As a reminder that the MIBS degree is truly international, alumni traveled from Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Norway, and Peru, as well as from throughout the U.S., to meet up with their classmates. An informal track competition revealed that Foreign Nationals claimed the most attendees at 32% with Spanish trackers coming in second place at 23%. This earned the Foreign Nationals additional alumni appreciation gifts at the opening night happy hour.
Highlights of the weekend included a tour of Central Park, alumna Cindy Scott’s performance at the Metropolitan Room and plenty of time to socialize in the Big Apple.
A big “Thank you!” goes out to the Reunion Organizers: Marnie de Koning-Moore, Thomas Hissam, Rob Huting, John Mullins, Roy Schijns and Cindy Scott. It would not have been such a success without you!
