The 30-year reunion for the MIBS Class of 1979 was held on Oct 16-18 in Columbia.
On Friday, the class was welcomed by Alumni Director, Gabriele Clark, at M Vista while they enjoyed cocktails and dinner. The group gathered at the Darla Moore School of Business for lunch on Saturday to listen to two speakers talk about some of the changes at the Moore School and in Columbia. Dr. Randy Folks spoke about the evolution of the MIBS program and the current IMBA program. Dr. John Parks gave an overview of the vision for Columbia’s Innovista and the plans for further development. Saturday evening, the class met for dinner at Saluda’s in Five Points. The reunion concluded with Sunday brunch at Liberty Tap Room and Grill in the Vista.
The reunion weekend was organized by Merrill Boyce and Clemens Caicedo.
