Incoming freshmen, transfers, students seeking readmission, undergraduate non-degree applicants, international undergraduate students, and South Carolina Honors College applicants all apply to the University through Undergraduate Admissions.

Key Dates
October 15, 2012: Early Answer Application Deadline
If students turn in their completed application* in by this date, then we mail their decision letters during the December 19th Early Answer Week. A completed application includes: an application, $50 nonrefundable application fee (or qualified fee waiver for SC residents only), and all credentials, such as official high-school transcript(s) and official test scores sent directly from the testing service.
November 15, 2012: South Carolina Honors College and Top Scholars Application Deadline
December 1, 2012: Priority Application Deadline
To ensure full and equal consideration for the summer or fall 2013 semesters, students must have submittted their completed applications by December 1. Decisions for applications received by this date will be released during the week of March 12.
December 19, 2012: Early Answer Notification Week Begins
February 1, 2013: Credentials Deadline
Follow-up credentials, such as official test scores and updated high-school transcripts, must be received by February 1st. Applications for which credentials are received after February 1 will be considered on a space-available basis.
February 15, 2013: SC Honors College Notification
All offers of admission to the South Carolina Honors College will be made by February 15.
March 12, 2013: Priority Application Decision Week Begins
Decisions will be released during the week of March 12 for students who apply by December 1st and who also meet the February 1st Credentials deadline.
May 1, 2013: Enrollment Deposit Deadline
A $200 enrollment deposit must be paid to secure your admitted student's place in the 2012 freshman class.
