Admissions to Moore

Students going to classes

If you are currently enrolled in another college or school on the Columbia campus, you must submit an application to enter the Darla Moore School of Business.

THE DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SUMMER/FALL 2013 SEMESTER HAS PASSED.  If you need assistance making academic plans to transfer for the Spring 2014 semester, please see the Cross Campus Advising Office in the Student Success Center.

INTERNAL TRANSFER APPLICATION PROCESS

The application for Spring 2014 will be available in early Fall and will be due by October 1, 2013.  Late applications are not accepted.  If you have any questions about the application process, please contact us at undergrad@moore.sc.edu.


The Moore School admissions policy requires that you follow these guidelines:
  1. Students must have a minimum USC cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum of 15 USC-equivalent semester hours to apply. Calculus (MATH 122 or 141) must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
  2. In addition to the minimum requirements, preference will be given to students who have completed the following courses with a grade of "C" or higher:
    • ENGL 101 and 102
    • SPCH 140/230
    • MATH 170/142 or PHIL 110
  3. Applications will NOT be accepted after established deadlines.
  4. In order to submit an online application, you must first create an account or log into a previous Applyweb account.  Once your account is created, log in and begin the application.
