Delta Sigma Pi
The Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi has a rich tradition at the University of South Carolina. Established at USC in 1929, we hold the distinction of being the oldest professional business fraternity at USC, and are the only professional business fraternity on campus consisting completely of business students. Delta Sigma Pi is unique in its singular focus on business development and stresses the importance of developing the most well rounded young professionals who uphold the highest level of integrity. With a membership consisting solely of business students, Delta Sigma Pi offers a program directly applicable both to the undergraduate business major and to the contemporary corporate environment. In addition, Delta Sigma Pi offers a vast network of members and alumni which have proved helpful in securing internships and jobs after college.
As a professional fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi offers an ideal balance of professionalism and social interaction since its founding at NYU in 1907. Briefly, we offer professional development through professional speakers, etiquette dinners, workshops and LEAD (Leadership and Excellence Academies for Deltasigs) schools, to name a few. Socially, we typically have a brother retreat in the fall semester and a formal in the spring, as well as other formal and informal gatherings like bowling nights, tailgates for football games, and trivia nights.
