 | Hildy J. Teegen, Dean, Darla Moore School of Business Phone: 803.777.3176 Hildy Teegen is dean of the Darla Moore School of Business. Prior to coming to the University of South Carolina in September 2007, she was director of the George Washington University’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) in Washington, D.C. Dr. Teegen also held a joint appointment at GW as Professor of International Business at the School of Business and Professor of International Affairs at the Elliott School. She co-authored Globalization of Management Education, a seminal report released in 2011 by the AACSB. She serves on the boards of the Palmetto Institute, United Way of the Midlands, Engenuity SC, Midlands Business Leadership Group, Certus Bank and the Center for International Private Enterprise. She is a Liberty Fellow, a member of the Aspen Global Leaders Network and is in the Young Presidents Organization. Dr. Teegen earned bachelor's degrees in Latin American studies,international business and finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987. In 1993, she received her Ph.D. in International Business (with a sub-specialty in marketing strategy and economic development), also from the University of Texas at Austin. |

 | Brian Klaas, Senior Associate Dean, Academics and Research Phone: 803.777.4901 Brian S. Klaas is senior associate dean for academics and research at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He also serves as the Director of the Riegel & Emory Human Resource Center at USC. He received his Ph.D. from the Industrial Relations Research Institute at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Klaas teaches, conducts research, and consults in such areas as compensation, workplace dispute resolution, employee relations and HR outsourcing. He has published in such journals as Personnel Psychology, Industrial Relations, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Labor Research, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Human Resource Management. His research has been funded by grants from the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, the Riegel & Emory HR Center and the Society of Human Resource Management. |
 | Carolyn S. Jones, Assistant Dean, Undergraduate Division Phone: 803.777.2191 Carolyn S. Jones served as the director of the Moore School’s Undergraduate Division from 1989 until being named assistant dean in 2003. She is responsible for leadership of the Undergraduate Division, ensuring access to competitive and challenging academic experiences, providing student services for nearly 4,000 students, and promoting a range of international opportunities and co-curricular programming. In the summer of 2004, Dr. Jones led the school’s first international service learning program to Romania, which represented a collaboration between the Moore School, the Columbia World Affairs Council and the City of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She spearheaded and established the Moore School's Emerging Leaders Program, which recognizes the top 50 business student leaders and provides additional leadership training. Dr. Jones was instrumental in establishing the high-performance undergraduate Case Competition Team that participates in world-class competitions that highlight strategic challenges and managerial dilemmas. She has initiated numerous study abroad programs and strongly supports the school’s faculty-led overseas study programs to Africa, China and Eastern Europe. Dr. Jones is an experienced administrator and a recipient of the NADA Ambassador of Global Learning Award. As a co-recipient of the Freshman Advocate Award, she was recognized for her "extraordinary and profound" influence on the experiences of first-year students at USC. |
 | Brad Stratton, Director, Center for Business Communication Phone: 803.777.0506 Brad Stratton is director of the Center for Business Communication and a Lecturer in Management at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business where he has taught since 1999. He has worked as a professional and technical writer and trainer for business, non-profit, and government entities since 1998, and has served as an editorial assistant on several college textbooks. He also teaches professional writing and public speaking courses for the Moore School’s Daniel Management Center. Brad has developed executive education programs for the Moore School, the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University and the Texas City Management Association. His other published work includes two multicultural history booklets funded by the U.S. Department of the Interior, and professional education materials for the University of North Texas, the American Lung Association and others. Brad holds master's and bachelor degrees from the University of Oklahoma. |
 | La Trice Ratcliff-Small, Director, Assessment Phone: 803.777.0297 La Trice Ratcliff-Small is director of assessment at the Darla Moore School of Business, responsible for managing the school’s assessment processes in compliance with the Assurance of Learning standards for the school and the University and also for the dissemination and reporting accuracy of the school’s data for submission to various rankings entities including BusinessWeek, U.S.News & World Report and Financial Times. Previously, she worked in marketing research and as a client services manager. After receiving her MBA, she was a graduate research assistant in the Office of Planning, Assessment and Research at Clark-Atlanta University. Since joining the Moore School in 2005, Ratcliff-Small has served on the school’s Staff Advisory Council and was treasurer for the 2008-2009 academic year. In 2010, she received the school’s Susie Van Huss Staff Award. Ratcliff-Small has an MBA (2003) from St. Mary’s University and a BBA in Human Resources Management (1997) from Our Lady of the Lake University, both located in San Antonio, Texas. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration in the College of Education at the University of South Carolina. |

 | Kendall Roth, Senior Associate Dean, International Programs and Partnerships Phone: 803.777.3604 Kendall Roth is senior associate dean for international programs and partnerships, holds the J. Willis Cantey Chair of International Business and Economics. He received his Ph.D. in international business from the University of South Carolina in 1986 and has been on the faculty of the Moore School since that time. He is a Fellow of the Academy of International Business and a recipient of the USC Educational Foundation Award for Research in Professional Schools. Dr. Roth’s research has been published in the tier academic journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of International Business Studies. "Randy" Folks, Jr., is executive director for the Center for International Research and Development (CIBER). He develops international activities and programs for the Darla Moore School of Business and works to further the Moore School’s presence and reputation worldwide. For his contributions to the development of the field of international business Dr. Folks was named International Business Educator of the Year and an Honorary Fellow by the Academy of International Business and in 2008. His primary area of teaching and research has been international finance and currency risk management. |

In this role Jane oversees all advancement initiatives within the Moore School, including alumni programs, annual giving and major giving. Prior to joining the Moore School, Jane was a major gift officer with the University of Wyoming in Laramie from 2008-2011. She served as the director of development for student affairs and academic support at the University of South Carolina from 2006-2008. Jane’s experience also includes nonprofit board training and volunteer engagement. Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.  | Gabriele Koebler Clark, Director, Alumni Relations Phone: 803.777.7602 Alumna Gabriele (Koebler) Clark is director of alumni relations at the Darla Moore School of Business. Clark is focusing on “further strengthening the partnership between the alumni community and the Moore School through value-added programs.” Prior to joining the Moore, Clark served in Mexico for PPG Industries as global director of business process improvement in the Automotive Coatings area. She was responsible for leading change to a more quality-driven organization by establishing an infrastructure to support increased utilization of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to deliver improved business results. Clark began her career with PPG—a Fortune 500 company that manufactures coatings, chemicals and glass—as an internal auditor and advanced through a series of finance positions in Birmingham, England; Paris, France; and Detroit, Michigan. She was then named global product manager for Automotive Clearcoat and was responsible for new product development. She transitioned to Mexico as project manager for Automotive Coatings before assuming her most recent role. |

He leads the school in its outreach and partnership efforts with businesses in South Carolina and around the world by developing relationships with current and prospective business partners, identifying their strategic and operational requirements, understanding their unique executive education needs and creating opportunities for further collaboration with the Moore School. An executive with over 25 years experience, Truesdale was previously senior vice president of business development for Genpact LLC, formerly GE Capital International Services, where he managed business relationships and led business development activities for some of Genpact’s most strategic global partners. As a GE executive based in the United States, he led successful product and account development initiatives in the Americas, Asia-Pacific region and the United Kingdom. Truesdale has been a member of the Moore School’s International Business Advisory Council for the Center for International Business Education (CIBER) for more than 10 years. He was a featured speaker on GE Capital International Services’ business initiatives in India for GE’s Jack Welch Executive Training and Development Center and Microsoft Corp. Her background includes more than 20 years of recruitment, teaching and marketing experience. Doran is certified in the Birkman Method, EQ-I (Emotional Intelligence), LIFEPLAN (Tom Paterson Life Plan Process) and is also a certified expert in Business Etiquette and International Protocol from the Protocol School of Washington. To date, she has worked with over 5000 professionals and students in this area. Appel has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and communications, publishing, public relations, writing and editing, multimedia production and new media. In addition to serving as a marketing, public relations and communications consultant to a wide variety of clients, Appel has more than 20 years of experience in health care communications and marketing.  | Debbie Brumbaugh, Chief Financial Officer & Director of Administrative Services Phone: 803.777.7312 Debbie Brumbaugh currently serves as the chief financial officer and director of administrative services for the Darla Moore School of Business. In addition to serving in her financial capacity, Brumbaugh has taught accounting courses for the Moore School since 1993 as an adjunct instructor. She has over 33 years of state government and higher education experience as a director of accounting, budget officer, controller and financial officer. Throughout her professional career, she has presented at numerous seminars throughout the Southeast on various accounting topics. Brumbaugh has taught fund accounting seminars to college and university business officers throughout the Southeast region for the National Association of Colleges and Universities Business Officers (NACUBO). She has taught professional staff development courses for the USC Human Resources Division on Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Accounting Concepts. She has served on the GASB 34 Advisory Committee for the South Carolina State Comptroller’s General Office and is a current member of the South Carolina Governmental Finance Officers Association. | Michael Dollar, CTO - Information Technology Michael Dollar is a visionary learning technology expert who operates at the intersection between pedagogy and technology; he works to understand the learning strategy and then enables it by the creative use of learning and related technologies. To that end, he has worked as part of a team which partnered with Cisco and Polycom to create the nation’s first distributed learning model using Immersive TelePresence and associated multi-modal technologies at eight sites scattered across the State of South Carolina. This environment is being used for the school’s professional MBA program as well as executive education programs delivered at multiple sites internationally. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where he is responsible for designing and implementing a school wide strategic plan for technology for the existing school as well as a new start of the art business school to open in 2014.
