Center for Business Communication
About
The Center for Business Communication (CBC) is a free service for the entire Moore School community of students, faculty, staff and alumni. We were one of the first centers of our kind in the U.S. and are considered a model for other business schools. We offer:
- individual tutoring to help improve your written projects
- practice facilities and coaching for your speeches and presentations
- help for faculty who want to develop communication-intensive assignments
- language learning support for non-native speakers of English
Consultant Profiles
The Center for Business Communication employs consultants skilled in language and communication as well as second language acquisition. Most consultants are graduate students from the USC Department of Linguistics who have work experience in communication, publishing and language learning.

To make an appointment, please email cbc@moore.sc.edu, and please tell us about the project you're working on and what times are best for you to meet. You can also give us a call at 803.777.5904 or just stop by the center in person. We're located in Room 150 next to the computer lab.
